Dalton, Ga. — Dalton Public Schools is proud to announce that Westwood and City Park elementary schools have been named Title I Reward Schools.

The schools earned the recognition based on content mastery scores from the most recent two years of reported statewide assessment data. The designation recognizes their academic progress among Title I schools across Georgia.

“Being named a Title I Reward School is a reflection of the dedication happening every day in these classrooms. Our teachers, principals, and staff at Westwood and City Park go above and beyond for their students, and this recognition shows the results of that commitment. We are incredibly proud of them,” said Superintendent Dr. Steven Craft.

Dalton Public Schools congratulates the students, teachers, principals, and staff at Westwood and City Park on this achievement.
